Golden oldie! This ridiculously cool 1967 Watkins Rapier 44 came to the Workshed for some servicing and attention to the fretwork. The electronics were completely dead with oxidized pots and bad solder joints, broken ground wires and old age! Managed to bring them back to life with completely stock wiring, output and caps....score 🤘🏻⚡

The fretboard has shrunk slightly leaving sprouting and unseated frets, which have been pressed back in before levelling.

Full deep clean and polish of all hardware, fretboard conditioned with Parker + Bailey oils. Final buff with L'tromba Lacquer polish
