This 1976 Fender Telecaster had the works 🔥
Full rewire vintage Tele style with new pots/switch + Russian PIO Cap. Fret Level, Crown, Dress. Handcrafted bone nut which I've relic'd for vintage mojo, plus a full deep clean of all hardware.
This had some bad wiring and the fretwork was poor, all sorted now and plays better than it did out of the factory!
70's CBS era Fenders get a bad rep, although many folk are starting to appreciate the 'not quite right' vibe and although not a golden era of guitar making they have lots of charm and the pickups are pretty cool and pokey too! Enough to forget about the bad neck pocket fits etc...
