Hipshot Tremsetter installed and setup on this Charvel đ„
After removing the old Tremelo springs and claw, I start by pulling up the block all the way up with the Trem bar and measuring 86mm from the edge of the sustain block, I mark in-line with the centre spring hole and centre punch my mark for the screw that holds the Tremsetter bracket and then drill the hole for the pull rod to move in/out when the Floyd is used.
The final setup of the Tremsetter is quite fiddly. After loosening the setscrew on the collar near point A, you push that all the way in leaving a small gap at point B, placing a thick plectrum in point B whilst tightening the setscrew, then releasing the plectrum, the Tremsetter is ready to go đ€đ»
