Possibly the worst looked after guitar I've ever worked on. Some comments from my socials were "Absolutely disgusting", "Looks like it's been kept underwater", and the beautifully put, "Floyd Rust".
I have quite a few tricks up my sleeve for rust removal, and the one I chose for this particularly bad 'gunky rust' was a lengthy soak in white wine vinegar, before using a rust removal liquid and finally, a toothbrush!
The nut was missing the locking parts so I've added some shiny new gold ones and the saddle mounting screws had to be replaced as they were too damaged. I've also levelled and dressed the frets before a nice level Floyd Rose setup specifically for 'shredding' 🤘
