Fretbuzz Service + Setup - Yamaha 5-String Bass

This Yamaha 5 string bass had the familiar 'floppy' bottom string when tuned to A#. With or without equal tension strings, this is tricky to get rid of - I've tried increased tension at the nut and bridge and now when fretted it feels right with less open 'wobble'. Another option for tighter open A# could be to try a flatwound .135 rather than keep going up a gauge and getting an uncomfortable playability.
