Happy #Gibsunday
This Gibson Les Paul was choking out in the higher register and required a full fret level, crown and dress. After checking with my fret rocker, it was apparent there were 5 high points in short succession of each other and with a few passes of with my levelling beam, it revealed uneven points on the entire fretboard. I generally use crowning files rather than 3-point files for set neck guitars, really happy with the roundness off the crowns as even new, some Gibson frets seem to be quite flat. Polished out from 200 grit to 3000, followed by micromesh and autosol polishing compound, this beast doesn't fret out anywhere, even on the sharpest of bends.
