Gretsch Electromatic - Handcrafted Bone Nut, Fret Level + More

Gretsch Electromatic had the works!

Handcrafted Bone Nut ✅

New 3-way toggle switch ✅

Gotoh Locking tuners✅

Fret Level, Crown + Dress✅

Fixed Bigsby Trem Arm & Setup!✅

A few very welcome upgrades on this Gretsch! Tuning stability is an issue on the Electromatic range, especially with the Bigsby. The new Gotoh Locking tuners have helped to keep things where they should be, along with a handcrafted bone nut, made here at the Fretbuzz Workshed. The synthetic nuts are heavily lacquered in, making these very tricky to replace. I've managed to fit my new one with minimal tear out. The machine punched factory frets that tend to vary in height have now all been levelled, crowned and dressed for superior playability with zero choke-out.

The Bigsby arm needed a new spring and bolt to operate correctly without coming loose. The 3 way toggle switch was replaced with a new one, due to intermittent connection.

Set up with 0.10" neck relief at the 5th to 6th fret, strung with Rotosound 10-46" (my favourite strings) they last longer than other brands and always intonate perfectly with lots of nice top end.

Full guitar deep clean and buff, with a low action, ready to rock!
