Hardtailed this awesome blue 00's USA Strat! Plus a well needed Fretbuzz Service + Setup 🔥
20 years of only ever having string changes, the green tarnishing was getting pretty thick on the maple fretboard and fret edges - my only bugbear with Corona factory produce from this era is the blush coat lacquer which covers the frets, a hefty dress was needed to get the best 'feel'!
A few saddles screws were rounded off and needed replacing, the truss rod nut has had a hard life and was on the verge of rounding off, I've used my Stainless Steel hex rods to adjust to the new string tension.
Full electrics service, few cold solder joints here and there - lots of tidying up on this one. The bridge had been hardtailed by another tech previously, who shaped the block ever so slightly off, I've modded his block and added extra spring tension, this thing is like a rock. The Seymour hotrail brings a decent enough chug to AC⚡DC 😲
