'97 Epiphone Dot 🔥🔥🔥
This babe came to the Workshed for a new Jack Output, Graphite Nut + Setup ✌️
The original nut had worn too low and to keep the aesthetics intact, a Graphtec Tusq was used as replacement. Some work was required for the correct nut slot heights. I've replaced a faulty gunked up Jack Output for a quality Switchcraft one.
Fretboard clean, oil treatment + polish really makes the grain pop and playability difference, especially on a nice Rosewood board.
During the Setup I came across a few unseated frets which I've managed to get back into the slots properly, this would benefit from a fret dress at some point.
I've played a few Epiphone Dots over the years, but never any from the 90's. This is definitely one of the greats ✌️
