Busy times at the Fretbuzz Workshed!
This Martin semi acoustic had a crack on the top which was lifting away after a nasty fall due to the strap button coming loose. The strap button was one of the old peg style and to prevent another injury, I've filled the hole, colour matched to the body and drilled for a new modern style button.
The crack has also been sealed and repaired before finishing off. During the fall the Fushan preamp dropped into the body and needed a new screw to hold the preamp board back against the soundhole.
My client mentioned a buzzing around the 12th fret which was due to numerous high and low points, I've spot levelled these out with 'fall-away' and after a setup with Rotosound 11-54" Jumbo Kings the guitar now sounds and plays as it should.
