The stock pickups are Seymour Duncan with a @DIMARZIOINC FS1 'Fat Strat' in the bridge as standard!! 🤯
In its 32 years of case hopping, the only real issue is a grubby beyond repair 5-way switch and some pitted frets. I've levelled and dressed out the fretwear, replaced the switch and wiring with vintage cloth wire and an Oak Grigsby 5-way.
Many of the Japanese Squiers I've worked on have neck issues, mainly backbow and dodgy truss rods. This neck was perfectly true, with a truss rod that is very responsive and after a setup with @rotosound_uk 9's, it seems to have settled in great with a low action and 0.15" relief at the 8th fret.
