Love how quirky these older Gordon Smith guitars are, chisel work in the pickup routes and wiring cavity. Unfortunately it was an absolute rat's nest inside, I couldn't work out what the mods were doing but the pots that worked sounded trash and the Gibson bridge pickup was wired out of phase. I've wired in a push/pull for a bass cut in series, really helps to brighten up the stock neck Humbucker, reversed the hot and ground so they are in phase and now it sounds like absolute beast 🔥🔥
