My hometown hero Guitar Luthier 'Pete Back' made some special Guitars for some very special Musicians back in the 80's. I've loved being able to restore and even upgrade this guitar into something totally Awesome 🔥🔥🔥
The fretboard was scalloped from the 13th fret and so lost a mother of pearl inlay, I've Re-radiused the amazing 1980's Rosewood fretboard with a compound radius of 9.5" to 12.5" also adding a new 6mm dot inlay.
Full Refret with HOSCO Medium jumbo Stainless Steel Fret wire, perfectly levelled, crowned and dressed. I've handcrafted a new bone nut to replace a brass nut with bad string alignment.
All new custom wiring, with A500k Alpha pots, bridge pickup tone cap is a .33 and neck is a .47 and my trusty trademark 'coil spring' ground wires + mini toggle killswitch 😀
Setup with 0.10" relief and a slinky low action. The compound radius is great for shredding from the 12th 🤘⚡
