Washburn Mercury II - Fretbuzz Service + Setup

Fretbuzz Service + Setup on this 1990's Washburn Mercury II

Check the before and after shots - The frets were heavily tarnished and the guitar was struggling with tuning issues. I have added extra spring tension and reduced the neck relief for a better playing action. Setup with Rotosound Music Strings 10-46"

There are 6 high points on the fretwork which has meant a compromise of neck relief and action height during the setup. If you have a guitar with fret buzz that is only specific to certain frets, having uneven frets is the cause of this issue. A good way to check this - if the buzz is not apparent before or after a certain fret.. bringing it over to the Workshed for a fret level, crown and dress will cure these issues and dramatically change the playability of a guitar for the better. Please see my five star reviews for further info.
